DU applicants who had set up on getting entrance in
Economics (honours) in top colleges were in for a enjoyable shock on Thursday.
Shri Ram College of Commerce reopened admission for BA (H) economics in it all
cutoff record declared by Delhi University on Thursday.
While SRCC and Miranda Home decreased the economics cutoff
by 0.25 percentage points each, Hindu decreased it by 0.5 percentage point.
SRCC principal P C Jain said the college has 62 seats in
Economics (H). "By the end of the third record, admissions and drawback
the college has been residual with 65 learners of which around a number of are
from science background. By past experience these learners leave for professional
programs like engineering and medication, which is why we had to reopen in the
fourth list."
Nearly 50 percent the colleges given that BA program
continued admission in the fourth list, with colleges like Delhi College of
Artistry and Industry, Sri Venkateswara, Zakir Husain (evening), Deen Dayal
Upadhyaya and SGTB Khalsa.
Distributions have been one of the factors for BCom (H)
staying start in colleges like Hans Raj and reopening in Deen Dayal Upadhyaya
College. The top decrease of 2 percentage points has been registered at Zakir
Husain (evening) with its cut-off which range from 83% to 88%. The top cut-off
now for BCom (honours) in the fourth lis is at Hans Raj with 96% to 98%, a
decrease of 0.25 percentage point.
